It is also a central platform behind a range of consumer and service-partner applications. These run on the web and mobile, across multiple brands and markets. The product is used by technicians and end-users worldwide. What is the project about? Since 2018, Proekspert collaborates with a leading global HVAC manufacturer to design, build, and run the Cloud platform behind their connected devices. The solution keeps tens of thousands of devices connected in real time. The client’s technicians and end-users get round-the-clock control, monitoring, and performance insight. The platform has been a business-critical component in production for years. Behind it is a demanding, high-throughput backend that handles thousands of requests per second in real time. Keeping a mission-critical system reliable at scale takes resilience and quality engineering. The team handles its continuous development, new functionality, maintenance, and 3rd level support. Technologies: .NET 8 / C#, Entity Framework Core, Azure (AKS, Service Bus, Event Hub, App Service, Notification Hub, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Application Insights, WebJobs), MS SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, OAuth 2.0, JWT, RBAC, REST API, JSON-RPC, WebSocket, CI/CD (TeamCity), IaC (Bicep, Kustomize) What will you do? Own features end to end, from technical analysis and solution design at the early request stage through delivery. Stand behind their quality, fit for purpose and long-term maintainability. Drive software design and architecture for a scalable, secure platform. Consult the client on the best technical solution for what the project actually needs. Build and run global live services, setting up, configuring, and maintaining the solution in Azure. Applying DevOps practices to new and existing services. Ensure quality through automated tests. There is no separate manual QA, so every engineer stands behind their own work. Monitor systems proactively. Flag and resolve issues or improvements before they become problems. Plan, propose, and implement new features. Communicate directly with the client on the features you own. Help shape the teams technical direction by challenging assumptions and proposing best solutions. Use AI tooling to draft, generate, test, or summarise while reviewing the result and owning every decision yourself.
