Responsibilities
- Build a unified web portal for educational institutions to submit required data in alignment with state program objectives
- Construct a real-time operational data store to transmit student and performance information to the state agency
- Implement a data warehouse solution to connect and monitor longitudinal metrics for schools and students
- Design interactive analytical dashboards to display program performance to diverse user groups
- Apply standard development tools and frameworks such as Visual Studio, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/AJAX, C#, and Telerik RadControls
- Generate and distribute reports based on live data sources
- Develop, document, and validate software applications through full development cycles
- Evaluate organizational goals, formulate action strategies, and determine opportunities for system enhancements
- Support or lead the development of technical specifications and testing protocols
- Update and expand current operational documentation for systems and processes
- Interpret written and spoken requirements to inform development tasks
- Collaborate regularly with project leadership on task progress and project needs
Responsibilities
- Develop an integrated web portal that will allow Oklahoma Career and Technology Centers, Comprehensive Schools, and other reporting affiliates to submit data needed to meet the ODCTE goals and objectives
- Develop a live Operational Data Store to send student and performance data in real time to the ODCTE for program reporting purposes
- Develop a Data Warehouse to link and track school, student, and other performance metrics over time
- Developing Analytical Dashboards that allow various audiences to see the performance on program goals
- Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to Visual Studio, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript/AJAX, C#, and Telerik RadControls
- Create and deliver data-driven reports
- Design, code, document and test software applications
- Analysing business objectives, preparing an action plan and Identifying areas for modification and improvement
- Assist in creating or create technical specifications and test plans
- Create new and extend existing operational documentation
- Analysis of written and verbal requirements
- Consult closely with the project manager related to projects and tasks
