Responsibilities
- designing and developing the server-side foundation of the SafetyTrack platform using ASP.NET Core Web API
- building a secure, scalable API layer that serves as the single point of access to business logic and data
- designing and implementing data models for versioned questionnaire templates, user responses, workflows, file storage, and analytical reporting views
- implementing secure, role-based and OrgaTree-aware access control using Azure Entra External Identities (OIDC)
- developing cross-cutting platform capabilities such as validation, caching, rate limiting, and observability
- supporting integrations with Agentic AI services where applicable, including response classification and knowledge-based capabilities
- collaborating closely with Front-end Developers, Cloud/DevOps Engineers, and the Tech Lead to define API contracts and deliver end-to-end solutions
- contributing to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and agile delivery with feedback-ready increments every sprint
- ensuring high standards of security, auditability, and maintainability across the platform
- continuously improving the platform architecture by applying modern engineering best practices
Requirements
- strong experience with .NET and ASP.NET Core, including designing and developing RESTful APIs
- solid experience with relational database design and SQL (Azure SQL or equivalent)
- hands-on experience designing versioned, immutable, and auditable data models
- strong knowledge of authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and role-based access control
- experience working with cloud-native architectures, containerized services, secure file storage, and modern observability practices
- familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Azure Monitor, or similar monitoring solutions
- experience working with Git-based CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on building secure and scalable backend solutions
- very good English language skills (written and spoken)
Nice to Have
- experience with Azure API Management
- knowledge of Power BI or analytical data pipelines
- experience working in regulated, compliance-driven, or audit-sensitive environments
- familiarity with Azure cloud services and modern DevOps practices
- experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work
- interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches
