Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and operational assessment of missions involving low and medium Earth orbit satellites.
- Improve and build automated workflows for satellite operations and mission execution.
- Establish and support system architecture and integration for space and ground components.
- Work closely with flight software development teams to ensure mission success and system efficiency.
- Design and manage satellite database functions and telemetry handling processes.
- Build and apply simulation models and analytical tools to assess mission performance and readiness.
- Develop custom engineering software and automation using Python or similar scripting languages.
- Use MATLAB and AGI Systems Tool Kit (STK) for modeling, analysis, and simulation of mission scenarios.
- Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and mission outcomes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship across all phases of the project lifecycle.
