Eurofins is hiring a Senior Medical Technologist

Responsibilities

• Perform, validate, and troubleshoot laboratory tests and analytical instruments
• Maintain SOP compliance, safety standards, and accurate reporting (incl. critical values)
• Train, guide, and orientate junior staff
• Support quality assurance, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with workflow optimisation, specimen protocols, and LIS operations
• Participate in regulatory and accreditation audits (MOH, CAP)
• Any other duties as assigned by Laboratory Manager
• Lead day-to-day operations of the assigned laboratory section (when appointed as Section Leader)
• Ensure quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance (when appointed as Section Leader)
• Develop and maintain section SOPs and workflows (when appointed as Section Leader)
• Oversee inventory, equipment performance, and vendor coordination (when appointed as Section Leader)
• Support staff training, competency, and team performance (when appointed as Section Leader)
• Lead evaluation and validation of new tests (when appointed as Section Leader)
• Coordinate section‑related audits and accreditation activities (when appointed as Section Leader)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, or equivalent
• Strong technical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional integrity, service‑oriented mindset, and ability to adapt to change
• Good general health; no colour blindness
• Perform shift duties as required

Nice to Have

• Minimum 7 years of clinical laboratory experience preferred
