AECOM is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer

Our Buildings & Places team based in Brisbane are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the continued growth of the business. This opportunity presents an excellent opportunity to develop your experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects across the defence and data-centre space. What will a day in this role look like: - Utilise your extensive design experience to facilitate high-quality and cost-effective work on a variety of projects varying in size, scope and sector. - Lead mechanical designs and delivery for our major client projects including participating in the technical review of projects whilst working collaboratively with the broader team. - Assist in the mentoring and guidance of junior engineers within the local and national team including performing quality control review of design calculations and drawings. - Work effectively within our multi-disciplinary engineering teams on major projects including contributing to interdisciplinary review of project deliverables. Please note, due to the nature of the projects Australian Citizenship is required, with previous or current defence clearance highly regarded.
