Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, architects, and project stakeholders
- Produce preliminary engineering designs under guidance from senior staff
- Formulate technical specifications, system descriptions, and layout plans for diverse project scopes
- Define engineering standards, criteria, and design requirements for project execution
- Oversee the development of technical reports and evaluation of system alternatives and building performance
- Ensure collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants
- Manage all project-related communications among team members, clients, and contractors
- Lead construction administration tasks including field reporting, RFI responses, and addenda processing
- Conduct regular, objective performance reviews for team members
- Engage in technical leadership initiatives within the business unit
- Support senior technical staff in staff training and professional mentoring programs
