Laborie Medical Technologies Corp is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, time study, space requirements, soliciting observations from operators, and equipment layout.
  • Design, develop, and improve manufacturing equipment using CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Lead the implementation of new equipment into the manufacturing process.
  • Manage, execute, document, and support the line validation/qualification activities, including IQ, OQ, PQ, MSA, and generation of work instructions and control plans.
  • Participate in Design for Assembly (DFA) / Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities to verify manufacturability of Product Designs.

Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing/Production Engineer, preferably in Medical Devices with a bachelor’s degree -OR- 6+ years’ experience with a master's degree.
  • Lean manufacturing experience with knowledge of lean manufacturing methods and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD software, electromechanical design, and other engineering tools.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Quality and Product Development.

Nice to Have

  • Black Belt Certification.
  • Master’s Degree.
  • Knowledge of DFM/DFA.
