Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison for Information Security within the Enterprise Platform organization
- Lead proactive security consultations for business and technology units in areas including infrastructure protection, data security, network design, access controls, and system resilience
- Demonstrate deep expertise in organizational security frameworks, policies, standards, and technological solutions
- Guide stakeholders to adopt built-in security practices earlier in the development lifecycle
- Identify, assess, and escalate cybersecurity risks for appropriate resolution
- Deliver targeted support on emerging and critical security issues as needed
- Report regularly to executive stakeholders on the security posture and risk landscape of the business unit
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand strategic goals and align security services accordingly
- Provide expert guidance on product security, particularly in identity and access management systems and standard authorization protocols
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information technology
- At least 7 years of experience advising on security principles and practices
- Minimum 7 years conducting security risk evaluations and architectural reviews
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software design, systems architecture, networking, and cloud infrastructure
- At least 5 years focused on cloud security engineering
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Three or more years securing public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Four or more years in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or related domains
- Hands-on experience developing software on public cloud infrastructure
- Knowledge of cloud patching strategies including system rehydration and image lifecycle management
- Experience applying Agile development practices
- Background in software security architecture
- Proven application security experience
- Familiarity with threat modeling techniques
- Experience in penetration testing or vulnerability management
- Integration experience with SaaS platforms in enterprise settings
- Security experience with containerized environments
- Proficiency with Splunk or enterprise monitoring tools
- Prior work in the financial services sector
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or CISSP
- Knowledge of both offensive and defensive security methodologies
- Experience operating in regulated industries
- Strong analytical, communication, and influencing abilities
Compensation
