Responsibilities
- Lead and develop operational leaders by mentoring managers, fostering leadership growth, and maintaining high performance standards across teams.
- Align department goals with company strategy, ensuring operational priorities support long-term business objectives across financial transaction workflows.
- Oversee key performance indicators including service level agreements, quality, accuracy, and processing times using data analytics and capacity planning to drive efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in customer service, product, data, legal, and sales to integrate operational insights into product development and regulatory execution.
- Enforce strong controls across transaction processes, proactively identifying and reducing operational risks in a regulated financial environment.
- Champion customer-centric decision-making by analyzing root causes of systemic issues and implementing sustainable improvements to enhance client outcomes.
- Promote innovation by advancing process automation, standardization, and system upgrades to maintain efficient and scalable operations.
- Guide teams through organizational change with clear, empathetic communication and structured reporting to executive and internal stakeholders.

Requirements
- Minimum of four years of operations leadership experience in financial services, fintech, retirement administration, or banking sectors.
- At least two years of experience managing other managers in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of financial transaction flows, payment processing, and compliance controls within regulated industries.
- Demonstrated success in building high-performing teams, setting performance expectations, and developing managerial talent.
- Ability to analyze complex operational data, staffing models, and SLA metrics to inform strategic decisions and resource allocation.
- Proven collaboration with product, engineering, legal, and customer support teams to align on shared business goals and operational needs.
- Experience designing scalable operational processes and leading large teams through transformation initiatives.
- High integrity with excellent communication skills suited for executive-level audiences.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with 401(k) administration platforms, payroll system integrations, or financial reconciliation processes.
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
