Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support mainframe systems using COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, DB2, MQ, and VSAM technologies.
- Apply expertise in Netron Frame for system integration and development tasks.
- Utilize enterprise ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow or Service Manager, including workflow management.
- Deliver solutions within both waterfall and agile project environments, managing incidents, service requests, and change requests concurrently.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across applications and integrated systems.
- Optimize performance of mainframe applications and refine database query efficiency.
- Create detailed technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and knowledge base entries for internal teams.
- Interpret business and technical requirements to recommend implementation paths that meet organizational goals.
