Responsibilities
- Create full-cycle machine learning systems for retrieval-augmented generation, vector-based search, and fine-tuning workflows.
- Construct and refine data pipelines that combine structured, unstructured, and embedding data into ML processes.
- Build reusable tools and frameworks for extracting data, assessing model performance, and benchmarking large language models.
- Partner with data science and product teams to convert business challenges into scalable ML system designs.
- Investigate, test, and deploy cutting-edge methods in semantic search, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
- Develop evaluation methods for ML systems using relevance scoring, quality assessment, and human feedback loops.
- Ensure ML workflows are efficient and scalable, especially for high-volume embedding creation and retrieval.
- Collaborate with platform engineers to deploy ML frameworks in production environments.
- Maintain documentation for system designs and establish internal standards for AI/ML development.
