Responsibilities
- Define model development methodologies and best practices, overseeing the entire lifecycle and playing a key role in selecting the technology stack.
- Support the production deployment and ongoing evolution of Oracles, which are machine learning-driven entities that guide the behavior of Prima's microservices.
- Develop tools such as packages, microservices, and pipelines that are essential for your own and your team's work.
- Continuously learn, experiment, and stay updated with emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Strong programming background with expertise in Python.
- Familiarity with the ML model development lifecycle, including experience deploying models to production.
- Proficiency in software development practices such as TDD and BDD, ensuring code quality, readability, and maintainability.
- Extensive experience in software architecture, including knowledge of common design patterns, with a focus on Machine Learning, Microservices, and Domain-Driven Design.
- Exceptional command of the English language.
Nice to Have
- Experience with version control for data and artifacts, such as DeltaLake, DVC, or MLFlow.
- Experience designing and operating cloud-based systems, preferably on AWS or Databricks.
- Familiarity with messaging platforms and proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Understanding of Kubernetes and service mesh concepts.
- Previous exposure to data orchestration tools.
