About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in Automation Testing, Performance
Engineering, and Quality Strategy for enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate will take ownership of test
frameworks, performance initiatives, and overall QA delivery, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of
scalability, reliability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
● Define and implement comprehensive QA strategies across automation and performance testing.
● Design, develop, and maintain automated regression and functional test suites (UI, API, and integration layers).
● Architect and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
● Plan, design, and execute performance testing using JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
● Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with DevOps and development teams for resolution.
● Integrate automation and performance tests within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
● Mentor and guide junior QA engineers to establish best practices and improve automation coverage.
● Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to ensure consistent quality.
● Generate and maintain test metrics, dashboards, and performance reports.
● Continuously evaluate emerging QA tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
Required Skills & Experience
● 10+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on Automation and Performance Testing.
● Proven hands-on experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
● Proficient in at least one programming language — Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
● Strong expertise in API automation (RestAssured, Postman, Karate).
● Hands-on with performance tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or k6.
● Sound understanding of performance metrics — CPU, memory, throughput, and latency.
● Strong SQL and database testing skills (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
● Familiar with monitoring and logging tools for performance analysis.
● Experience integrating tests in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
● Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices.
● Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
● Proven leadership experience managing QA teams or large-scale test initiatives.
Nice to Have
● Experience with cloud-based performance testing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
● Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
● Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or New Relic.
● Understanding of security testing and non-functional testing principles.
● Experience in test data management and service virtualization.
