Responsibilities

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across platforms
- Implement data governance and security best practices
- Optimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiency
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering excellence
- Evaluate and integrate new data technologies and tools
- Support real-time and batch data processing needs
- Drive automation across data operations and deployment pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data infrastructure issues
- Work closely with product and business teams to define data strategies
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards
- Manage end-to-end delivery of data engineering projects
- Promote reusable data patterns and platform standardization
- Conduct code reviews and enforce software quality standards
- Integrate data from disparate sources into unified systems
- Support cloud migration initiatives for data platforms
- Develop and maintain comprehensive data documentation
- Foster collaboration between engineering, analytics, and operations
