What You'll Do
- Build and maintain scalable, clean PHP code using Laravel, ensuring long-term maintainability and performance.
- Develop responsive and efficient frontend components with Vue.js, optimized for operation on low-power embedded devices used in digital signage.
- Design and implement secure, high-performance integrations with third-party platforms such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
- Lead key technical decisions around system architecture, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security as the platform grows.
- Enforce strong engineering practices through thorough testing, peer code reviews, and continuous process improvement.
- Support and guide junior developers, helping strengthen team-wide coding standards and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of professional experience with Laravel and deep understanding of its ecosystem.
- Proven expertise in Vue.js development, including component architecture and state management.
- Strong experience with MySQL and Redis, including database design, indexing, and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience building and integrating RESTful APIs, particularly with external services like Google or Microsoft platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows; experience on Google Cloud Platform is a bonus.
- Exposure to Electron, Android app development, or Chrome extensions is considered an asset.
