UserEvidence is hiring a Senior JavaScript Engineer to play a key part in shaping our backend services, improving code quality, and delivering new features across the product roadmap. You’ll collaborate closely with product and design to evolve our platform.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams
- Evolve our Express.js backend, improving architecture and best practices
- Help increase automated test coverage across the codebase
- Contribute to the React frontend and ensure cohesive end-to-end functionality
- Lead by example: write clean, maintainable code and perform thoughtful code reviews
- Participate actively by sharing knowledge and contributing to collaborative problem-solving
- Contribute to sprint planning, architecture decisions, and roadmap execution
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional JavaScript experience
- Strong expertise in Node.js / Express
- Solid experience with React on the frontend
- Experience with automated testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha
- A track record of technical leadership and mentoring developers
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote startup environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Nice to Have
- Located in the Greater Seattle area with the ability to work from our Bellevue office occasionally

Work Mode
This is a hybrid role. We are seeking candidates in the Greater Seattle area who can occasionally work from our Bellevue office. The role is otherwise remote.
