CVS Health is looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise applications and services. You will bring your expertise in Spring Boot, microservices, and modern DevOps practices to help build robust solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure microservices using Java Spring Boot.
• Build responsive front-end components using Bootstrap and integrate with RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product to deliver high-quality software.
• Integrate Generative AI APIs or models into enterprise applications where applicable.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Monitor and optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Leverage AI coding tools to streamline development workflows and improve code quality.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
• Participate in code reviews, tech talks, and workshops to foster a culture of learning and collaboration.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
• 5+ years microservices architecture and cloud-native development.
• 5+ years in Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for front-end development.
• 5+ years of experience with DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• 2+ years of Generative AI concepts and integration of AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face).
• 2+ years experience using AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer).
• 5+ years of SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience).

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of security best practices in enterprise applications.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Adept at collaboration, execution, and continuous learning.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or GCP.
• Exposure to AI/ML model deployment or prompt engineering.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
