About the Role
This role is for an independent, experienced engineer who can lead complex technical projects from design to production, influence platform architecture, and help shape engineering practices within a globally distributed, high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance Java-based services that support real-time sports data and betting products with 24/7 availability.
- Take full ownership of intricate technical initiatives, guiding them from concept through deployment.
- Help shape cloud-native AWS architecture by contributing technical expertise to platform-wide decisions.
- Support team growth through active code reviews, pair programming, and constructive feedback.
- Lead efforts to improve code quality, testing completeness, and overall engineering standards.
- Engage with product and engineering leaders to define technical strategy and provide thoughtful input when needed.
- Develop deep expertise in one of the industry’s most demanding real-time data processing environments.
