About the Role
Senior engineer designing and maintaining high-scale backend systems to address complex financial problems for millions of users, guiding architectural decisions, and supporting junior engineers through hands-on mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and operate robust backend systems using Kotlin and AWS infrastructure
- Influence technical strategy, team methodologies, and system architecture choices
- Work closely with product, design, and engineering colleagues to deliver cohesive solutions
- Guide less experienced engineers to improve overall team capability and code quality
- Take full ownership of team codebase, delivery timelines, and software quality
- Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including production operations
- Produce clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code
- Balance delivery speed, system quality, and risk to maximize customer value
