About the Role

Senior engineer designing and maintaining high-scale backend systems to address complex financial problems for millions of users, guiding architectural decisions, and supporting junior engineers through hands-on mentorship.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and operate robust backend systems using Kotlin and AWS infrastructure
  • Influence technical strategy, team methodologies, and system architecture choices
  • Work closely with product, design, and engineering colleagues to deliver cohesive solutions
  • Guide less experienced engineers to improve overall team capability and code quality
  • Take full ownership of team codebase, delivery timelines, and software quality
  • Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including production operations
  • Produce clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code
  • Balance delivery speed, system quality, and risk to maximize customer value
