Develop and maintain application features while resolving defects as part of ongoing system evolution
Conduct and participate in code reviews to uphold established code quality standards
Propose technical approaches for team discussion and remain open to alternative designs and limitations
Collaborate effectively with business analysts, testers, and production support teams
Take part in sprint planning and other agile rituals actively
Deliver consistent progress updates to the domain manager and flag risks or issues promptly
Work closely with distributed onshore and offshore teams during development cycles
Handle Level 3 production support duties
Maintain non-production environments to support regression and functional testing
Provide on-call support, particularly during weekday evenings to align with New York hours, and occasionally cover release weekends
Offer mentorship to peers and help define technical strategy within application boundaries

Development of maintenance and evolution features and defects Fixing
Ensure agreed upon code quality are met with code reviews
Provide technical solutions to be discussed within technical team and be willing to accept alternative solutions and constraints on solution
Able to engage across BA, Test team and production support
Active participation in Sprint Planning’s and other agile ceremonies
Provides a clear progress update on tasks to the domain manager on a regular basis, escalates risk and issues in a timely manner
Engagement with extended teams onshore and offshore during the course of assigned development tasks
L3 Production support
Nonproduction Environment maintenance for Regression and Functional testing
Support On call support – specially during weekday evenings covering New York as early morning is covered by Mumbai, and occasional cover for release weekends
Provides mentoring and guidance to other team members and sets the technical direction within the scope of the concerned applications
