Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to advance security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response capabilities.
- Analyze security incidents, manage response workflows, and refine operational procedures and playbooks.
- Create measurable security KPIs and reports that track control effectiveness and support risk decision-making.
- Enhance security safeguards across identity systems, endpoint devices, and essential SaaS applications.
- Strengthen access management through improved governance, privileged account controls, multi-factor authentication, conditional access policies, and device trust frameworks.
- Define and enforce endpoint security baselines, monitoring, and remediation protocols.
- Work with business units to assess security implications of new software, third-party vendors, and system integrations.
- Sustain and evolve cloud security controls with an emphasis on secure-by-default configurations.
- Operate a comprehensive vulnerability management program across infrastructure, cloud, endpoints, and SaaS, including risk ranking and remediation tracking.
- Evaluate cloud environment settings, access permissions, and potential risks, supporting teams with practical fixes and secure design principles.
- Develop automated solutions to streamline security operations and reduce manual intervention.
- Integrate security tools and workflows across identity, endpoint, cloud, and security platforms.
- Participate in architectural assessments, security standard development, and long-term strategic planning.
- Assist with governance, compliance requirements, and audit preparation by maintaining documented and effective security processes.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to encourage secure behaviors and strengthen organizational security awareness.
