HERO Software is seeking a (Senior) IT Security Consultant (w/m/d) for a dual-purpose role that blends hands-on security consulting with strategic leadership. You will create security solutions for clients while also guiding the direction and expertise of our internal Digital Security Competence Center.

What You'll Do

Create solutions and concepts for client challenges with a focus on IT security and data protection.
Advise clients on a wide range of security topics.
Plan and conduct security assessments for existing or planned IT solutions.
Promote the development and dissemination of security expertise within the company.
Define topics within the competence center that are relevant for our current and future business.

What We're Looking For

A successfully completed degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, or a similar field.
Very good knowledge of Cloud Security.
Very good knowledge of Threat Modelling as a methodological competence.
Very good knowledge of information security frameworks such as ISO 27001, BSI IT Grundschutz, or NIST CF.
More than 5 years of professional experience as a Solution Designer, Technical Project Manager, Security Consultant, or Enterprise Architect.
A structured way of working, strong consulting skills (writing, presenting, and communicating), the self-confidence to act as a central client contact, and high quality awareness.
Fluent German and very good English skills.
