Responsibilities
- Act as the main liaison between program leadership and federal executives for all IT infrastructure and operational matters across secure and non-secure environments
- Lead the planning, implementation, and ongoing delivery of IT services across Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information, Secret, and Unclassified systems
- Supervise diverse technical teams including network and server engineers, infrastructure architects, VTC specialists, developers, Linux administrators, virtualization experts, project managers, and end-user support staff
- Manage day-to-day operations and full lifecycle support for enterprise data centers, servers, networks, firewalls, storage, load balancers, cloud platforms, hyperconverged infrastructure, virtual desktops, and endpoint computing
- Define and execute the strategic vision for IT operations, including modernization plans, technology roadmaps, and service improvements aligned with mission goals
- Develop, track, and report on performance indicators, service level agreements, operational metrics, and organizational targets to maintain service quality
- Champion operational excellence with a focus on timely, budget-compliant, and error-free delivery in high-security federal settings
- Oversee capital and operational budgets related to infrastructure, modernization projects, staffing, procurement, and long-term sustainment
- Manage workforce planning, staffing models, and resource allocation to ensure uninterrupted operations and project success
- Produce executive-level updates on operational performance, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and risk mitigation efforts
- Lead transformation initiatives including cloud migration, virtualization, cybersecurity upgrades, automation, and enterprise service optimization
- Ensure adherence to federal cybersecurity policies, configuration control, security standards, and governance requirements
- Collaborate with government partners, cybersecurity units, project management offices, engineering teams, and mission stakeholders to enable integrated operations
- Direct incident response, escalation handling, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery execution
- Advance operational maturity through process refinement, standardized documentation, and improved service delivery across the enterprise
Other
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph eligibility preferred
- Must be able to manage competing priorities in high-tempo, mission-critical operational environments
- Executive-level reporting and communication expected
- Support for classified and unclassified environments including TS/SCI, Secret, and Unclassified systems
