Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and manage automated testing frameworks and test collections for iOS platforms.
- Work hand-in-hand with product managers, designers, and software developers to ensure features are reliable and built with testability in mind.
- Incorporate automated testing into continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to enable fast and confident software releases.
- Investigate, diagnose, and categorize test failures to help teams quickly identify root causes.
- Actively research and evaluate new testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance test coverage, execution speed, and scalability.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in test automation, specifically focused on iOS applications.
- Proficient in Swift programming language, with added advantage for knowledge in Objective-C.
- Hands-on experience using iOS testing tools such as XCTest and XCUITest.
- Understanding of CI/CD systems including Gitlab, Harbor, and Docker.
- Strong commitment to software quality and writing clean, sustainable code.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork to deliver high-quality user-facing products.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with device cloud platforms like Firebase Test Lab, BrowserStack, or Saucelabs.
- Familiarity with API testing using REST or GraphQL to validate full end-to-end workflows.
- Background in performance, load, or accessibility testing for mobile applications.
- Active contributions to open-source testing tools or personal testing-related projects.
