Zillow is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join their Mexico-based team, working closely with US tech teams to build and scale world-class mobile applications. The role involves leading technology decisions, mentoring engineers, and contributing to the full development lifecycle of iOS applications using modern Swift and SwiftUI.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to outstanding mobile application development from concept to launch
- Implement client-side features and server APIs and services to support planned mobile functionality
- Collaborate with an agile cross-team of developers, testers, designers & program managers to build features that engage our users and understand their outstanding expectations
- Consistently deliver performant, testable, scalable, highly-readable code using architecture and design best practices
- Lead the teams’ technology stack to ensure robust, scalable, and operable systems
- Work on the latest iOS technologies and architectural patterns
- Simplify and automate the buying, selling and renting experience for users
- Give feedback on the product and hold code to high standards
- Be customer-focused and adaptable in multi-functional partnerships
What We're Looking For
- BS/MS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of experience
- 5+ years of iOS experience
- Strong knowledge of Swift as well as SwiftUI
- Familiarity with Objective-C
- Ability to include and work closely with other engineers and other teams, most notably individuals in Android roles
- Experience delivering quality code on a deadline
- Strong experience profiling for optimizing performance and resource utilization
- The ability to work well with product management, design, services to shape and define product
- Experience with Agile development processes
- The ability to work well in a team setting
- Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken)
- Must be authorized to work in Mexico
