Responsibilities
- Lead the full vehicle integration process from bill of materials release to delivery of flight-ready units
- Examine and verify build documentation, work instructions, and technical drawings for accuracy and manufacturability
- Monitor component availability, address supply chain shortfalls, and oversee material staging for builds
- Act as the main technical liaison between design engineers and production technicians
- Identify, record, and resolve assembly deviations and non-conformances, leading corrective actions
- Track and manage build timelines across several vehicles and physical locations
- Enforce configuration management to ensure final builds align with original engineering specifications
- Support factory acceptance tests and initial power-up operations after system integration
- Create and improve integration workflows, test criteria, and quality standards
- Engage in design evaluations to provide feedback on assembly feasibility and production efficiency
- Travel to integration sites to supervise work, assist technicians, and troubleshoot issues immediately
- Perform hands-on tasks when necessary to support team progress and maintain build momentum
