Workato is hiring a Senior Instructional Designer

Responsibilities

  • Build and update learning journeys, courses, and bite-sized training content centered on product offerings such as Agent Studio, Enterprise MCP, and the API Platform.
  • Produce engaging instructional resources including videos, e-learning modules, guides, and quick-reference tools that clearly communicate product functionality, core concepts, and recommended approaches.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to align training content with customer lifecycle stages, go-to-market plans, and evolving product features.
  • Design hands-on exercises and realistic use cases—like creating and managing Genies, setting up skills, and constructing data workflows—to reinforce applied learning.
  • Develop comprehensive evaluations, quizzes, and performance tasks to assess user competency and mastery.
  • Serve as a collaborative advisor to technical teams and subject matter experts, translating complex requirements into clear learning outcomes aligned with product direction and user needs.
  • Use learner feedback and performance data to refine content and help shape team standards, workflows, and instructional best practices.
  • Keep pace with advancements in AI, automation, and agentic technologies to ensure training programs remain forward-thinking and industry-leading.
