Responsibilities
- Conduct NDT inspections and testing in compliance with contractual requirements, safety limits, and your area of expertise.
- Specialize in oilfield tubular inspections, including Drill Pipe, Tubing, and Casing, to DS1, API, and licensor specifications.
- Perform QA/QC surveillance, welding inspections, and verification services to support client compliance and decision-making.
- Monitor and organize resources to ensure customer needs are met safely, accurately, and on time.
- Maintain accurate QC reporting, inventory tracking, and equipment calibration.
- Complete job-specific administration duties and ensure all work is recorded on the planning board daily.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior inspectors, logging competency hours and assisting them to achieve ISO 9712 Level 2 certification.
- Comply with ISO9001 requirements and other regulatory standards.
- Undertake FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) travel as required by operational needs.
Requirements
- Experienced NDT professional
- Specialization in oilfield tubular inspections (Drill Pipe, Tubing, Casing)
- Knowledge of DS1, API, and licensor specifications
- Experience in QA/QC surveillance, welding inspections, and verification services
- Ability to maintain QC reporting, inventory tracking, and equipment calibration
- Compliance with ISO9001 and other regulatory standards
- Willingness to undertake FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) travel as required
Nice to Have
- Experience providing training and mentorship to junior inspectors
- Assisting junior inspectors to achieve ISO 9712 Level 2 certification
