Responsibilities
- Design and sustain a distributed, fault-tolerant cloud platform operating at global scale
- Partner with engineering groups to execute large-scale platform projects
- Modify and enhance open-source tools to improve speed and security
- Provision and manage cloud resources on AWS using Terraform and Kubernetes
- Develop and support Kubernetes configuration files and deployment setups for essential services
- Optimize Linux environments and open-source applications for peak efficiency and security
- Create internal utilities to simplify development processes and increase automation
- Engage in system design evaluations, emergency response, and performance diagnostics to maintain high availability
