Responsibilities
- Rapidly deploy and modify infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
- Create and refine secure, multi-stage Docker images with optimized build processes.
- Develop and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, builds, and deployments across multiple environments.
- Set up and administer core cloud services on AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of a major container orchestration platform such as EKS, GKE, ECS, Fargate, or Cloud Run.
- Construct secure network architectures using load balancers, VPNs, private VPCs, subnets, routing, VPC peering, and NAT gateways.
- Manage object storage services including S3 or Cloud Storage.
- Administer managed relational databases such as RDS or CloudSQL.
- Implement event-driven serverless components using AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions, or similar technologies.
- Integrate and maintain content delivery networks and message queuing systems.
- Safeguard personally identifiable information by applying encryption, secrets management, firewalls, and web application protection tools.
- Develop automation scripts and internal tools in Go, Python, Node.js, or Bash to address client-specific operational needs.
- Ensure comprehensive monitoring and maintain high system availability and reliability.
