Responsibilities
- Evaluate and enhance security across applications, infrastructure, and development processes
- Establish scalable security standards and automated compliance mechanisms
- Collaborate with technical leadership to align security with business goals and timelines
- Manage identity and access systems, including authentication, authorization, and machine-to-machine security
- Develop and maintain secure authentication for internal and customer-facing platforms
- Strengthen login systems and standardize secure authentication patterns
- Create and support internal tools for secure development and compliance
- Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines, including code and container scanning
- Work with engineering teams to identify vulnerabilities and guide remediation
- Offer practical security advice during system design and architecture planning
- Coordinate across teams to integrate security without impacting delivery speed
- Explain technical security concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Support engineering teams as a trusted advisor in risk and security decisions
- Influence security improvements through leadership, standards, and mentorship
- Promote strong security practices and help teams adopt a proactive security mindset
- Demonstrate ownership and transparency in all security-related decisions
- Stay informed on current trends in application, cloud, and identity security
- Apply established security frameworks like OWASP, NIST, and CIS in real-world environments
- Continuously refine identity systems and security automation to support business growth
