Responsibilities
- Develop functional specifications for high-power, high-density Ethernet switches used in AI networking systems
- Evaluate and qualify electronic components for performance, reliability, and availability
- Perform schematic capture using both flat and hierarchical design methodologies
- Collaborate with electrical CAD teams on PCB layout and component footprint development
- Conduct or coordinate signal integrity simulations for power and data signals
- Define PCB stackup configurations and manufacturing specifications in coordination with multiple PCB vendors
- Partner with domestic and international contract manufacturers during prototype and production phases
- Lead lab bring-up and debugging of hardware prototypes
- Lead system-level troubleshooting across hardware, software, and test engineering teams
- Train manufacturing partners to achieve high test yield and production efficiency
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams of engineers, including junior staff
