Responsibilities
- Take ownership of project execution, delivering results on schedule with strong attention to quality.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives, including developing systems to detect anomalies in data that may signal security risks.
- Create visualizations and dashboards for both operational teams and leadership using Looker Core and BigQuery.
- Set up automated alerting mechanisms to detect irregularities and potential security incidents in real time.
- Build and manage data pipelines for ingestion and transformation using Google Cloud Dataflow, Apache Beam, and BigQuery to support analytics at scale.
- Apply machine learning techniques via BigQuery ML or Vertex AI to detect outliers, intrusions, and fraud in network data.
- Construct resilient, self-correcting data workflows for both streaming and batch processing on Google Cloud.
- Conduct data processing and analysis to enhance threat identification and reporting capabilities.
- Work closely with teams across functions to maintain high standards for data accuracy, access, and dependability in cloud systems.
- Produce and update technical documentation for data systems and engineering projects.
