Responsibilities
- Architect and manage resilient, secure, and scalable cloud environments spanning GCP and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Design and maintain multi-cloud systems that integrate networking, identity, and workload distribution across GCP and OCI.
- Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code templates using Terraform for consistent and automated provisioning.
- Create and optimize continuous integration and delivery pipelines using tools like Google Cloud Build, OCI DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and Argo CD.
- Deploy and operate containerized applications on Google Kubernetes Engine and Oracle Kubernetes Engine.
- Automate infrastructure setup, application rollouts, configuration, monitoring, patching, and routine operations.
- Implement and manage cloud networking components such as VPCs, subnets, routing, load balancers, DNS, firewalls, and secure private connections.
- Configure identity and access management, including service accounts, dynamic groups, policies, and federated identity with least-privilege principles.
- Set up monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability using Google Cloud Operations Suite, OCI Monitoring, OCI Logging, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Continuously tune cloud resources for performance, reliability, scalability, availability, and cost efficiency across both cloud providers.
- Design and implement backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, high availability setups, and business continuity protocols.
- Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and production issues, including incident response and root cause analysis.
- Work closely with development teams to enhance deployment workflows, release processes, and platform tooling.
- Enforce DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability management, secrets protection, policy compliance, and security automation.
- Secure container images and software artifacts through scanning and supply-chain integrity controls.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
- Guide junior engineers and advocate for best practices in automation, security, cloud engineering, and DevOps culture.
