Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality keyframed gameplay animations using Blender and the provided rig.
- Create animations for player movement, traversal, interactions, abilities, combat actions, and gameplay systems.
- Build, maintain, and iterate on animation controllers, blend trees, and state machines in Unity.
- Work closely with game designers to enhance gameplay feel and responsiveness.
- Integrate and iterate on animations in-game, collaborating directly with engineers.
- Use animation to communicate player actions clearly and support player feedback.
- Optimize animation assets and systems for real-time performance.
- Address a wide range of gameplay needs, from characters to interactive world elements.
- Establish and maintain animation standards and workflows for the project.
