ARHS is hiring a Senior Functional Analyst

ARHS Group – part of Accenture – is looking for a Senior .Net and JavaScript developer for one of its clients in Brussels, a key player in the Belgian Banking domain. Context We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional analyst to participate in the migration of the client’s on-premises Data warehouses (SAP Data Services / SQL Server) to the new Data platform (cloud-based; Databricks/python). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and hands-on experience with data migration projects of a similar nature. Role & responsibilities - Leading the end-to-end migration process of one or more Data warehouses (databases & pipelines) from SAP Data Services and SQL Server to Databricks. - Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensuring that the new solution (in the form of data product) meets these needs. - Performing data mapping, data validation, and data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the migrated data. - Providing technical guidance to the data engineers participating in the migration - Conducting thorough testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues that arise during the migration. - Making sure that all documentation (technical analysis, test cases, non-functional requirements) is available during the end-to-end migration process - Reporting and planning on the migration project status Deliverables - Software requirements specifications (made by yourself and team members), data model, data flow, documentation and manuals, test plan and test cases. - Documented best practices and common data requirements - Project status reports for the migration initiative - End-to-end data product delivery by yourself and data engineers working for you or other team members (technical analysis, test plan)
