Responsibilities
- Engage in the full lifecycle development of scalable enterprise-grade applications.
- Work closely with business units and engineering teams to assess needs and shape technical strategies.
- Guide less experienced engineers and help foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Build and enhance modular application features using microservices architecture.
- Develop and sustain both server-side and client-side application components with up-to-date frameworks.
- Formulate and run test scenarios to ensure high standards of software performance and dependability.
- Take part in continuous integration and deployment workflows, including release and support tasks.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and fix system defects, slowdowns, and operational problems.
- Engage in architectural planning, technology selection, and engineering best practices.
- Efficiently manage version control systems, DevOps pipelines, and development tooling.
- Advocate for code clarity, system observability, long-term maintainability, and security standards.
- Integrate AI-powered development tools across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Utilize intelligent coding assistants including Devin, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Sourcegraph Cody, and Continue.dev.
- Employ AI techniques for generating and restructuring source code.
- Use AI to produce and maintain technical documentation automatically.
- Leverage AI for creating and verifying automated test cases.
- Apply artificial intelligence to assist in debugging and root cause investigations.
- Enhance code review processes and elevate code quality using AI-driven insights.
- Automate software development workflows and boost developer efficiency with AI tools.
- Understand the strengths, constraints, and proper application of Large Language Models in software development.
- Support the responsible integration of AI engineering standards, policies, and secure tool usage.
- Keep current with evolving AI technologies, development frameworks, and engineering accelerators.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Angular frameworks.
- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of messaging systems including Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Exposure to AI/ML tools and platforms in a development context.
