Hire Overseas is hiring a Senior Fullstack Engineer to build joyful, movement-driven experiences that blend fitness and fun. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role helping bring cozy, monster-collecting games to life while contributing to a mission that gets players walking, playing, and living healthier lives.

What You'll Do

Build backend services and live game systems using Playfab, Azure, Unity, and C#.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Build responsive websites and game interfaces using React Native, JavaScript, and HTML.
Partner with engineering, art, design, and narrative teams to align features with game vision.
Document and communicate technical designs, and support debugging across departments.
Troubleshoot live issues and optimize backend workflows for smooth daily operations.
Perform code reviews and pair with teammates to continuously improve the codebase.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of experience in software or game development.
Shipped a commercial Unity game or major feature (mobile preferred).
Confident working end-to-end on fullstack features from ideation to deployment.
Familiar with live service integration (e.g. Playfab, REST APIs, cloud functions).
Excellent collaborator and communicator—especially in remote-first teams.

Nice to Have

Experience with web technologies (React, REST APIs, cloud dashboards).
Knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
Familiarity with Unity’s Addressables, UaaL, or mobile sensor APIs (step count, geolocation).
Background in wellness, fitness, or movement-based games.
Curiosity around using AI, ML, or UGC in gaming experiences.
