Responsibilities
- Lead a small engineering team across multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring well-defined scope, disciplined execution, and clear delivery ownership
- Manage team processes including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives, ensuring tasks are clearly scoped with defined success criteria and measurable results
- Oversee progress tracking and communication using Jira and Confluence, ensuring stakeholders are informed of project status, risks, decisions, and priorities
- Develop and maintain reliable GraphQL and REST APIs along with scalable backend services for both internal and external use
- Take full technical responsibility for features spanning product functionality and data systems
- Write production-grade code across frontend technologies like React and TypeScript, and backend systems using Node.js, SQL, GraphQL, and REST
- Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines and integration logic, including ETL-style transformations and connections to downstream platforms
- Create technical designs that enable long-term scalability, reliability, performance, and ease of maintenance
- Lead complex engineering efforts that span product features, API infrastructure, CRM components, and data processing workflows
- Champion high engineering standards through code quality, performance improvements, testing practices, and clear architectural documentation
- Collaborate closely with Product and other teams to turn business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Use AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance delivery speed, measuring impact via KPIs like cycle time, defect rates, and throughput
- Guide team members through code reviews, technical design discussions, career growth talks, and regular feedback sessions
