Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own complex features across the full stack, from React components to Java services
- Reason about service boundaries and help evolve the codebase through architectural change
- Integrate performance monitoring and optimization as a core part of the development process
- Use Claude Code as a natural part of the workflow
- Help the team stay ahead of industry and technology trends that shape product direction
Requirements
- Solid, proven experience shipping complex features in production with real ownership of outcomes
- Strong React and TypeScript skills, and comfort with state management (Redux and similar tools)
- Strong Java skills, ideally with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA
- Experience designing REST/OpenAPI APIs and working with relational databases and schema migrations
- Working knowledge of AWS fundamentals (S3, SQS, and similar services) and containerized local development (Docker)
- Comfort working with both synchronous and asynchronous service communication (queues/messaging)
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Kubernetes/Helm-based deployments, or deeper AWS (EC2, RDS, EKS, IAM)
- Kotlin experience
- i18n/multi-locale application experience
- Experience leading a legacy modernization or architectural migration effort
