Polygon Labs is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join its Applications team. In this role, you will shape the user and developer experience across the Polygon ecosystem by building high-impact projects that connect users and developers to Polygon technology.
What You'll Do
- Develop and ship new features for the Polygon Portal and Staking UI to enhance user and validator interactions.
- Build and maintain the Agglayer SDK to improve developer experience across connected chains.
- Improve observability and performance monitoring of frontend applications.
- Collaborate with the backend team to design and implement lightweight APIs when needed.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability through best practices, reviews, and documentation.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in developing user facing applications and backend services.
- 2–3 years of experience in web3 dApp and SDK development.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and frontend frameworks such as React.js and Next.js.
- Hands-on experience with web3.js, ethers.js, viem, or similar blockchain libraries.
- Ability to read Solidity code, understand smart contract logic, and interact with contracts programmatically.
Nice to Have
- Experience with non-EVM blockchain environments.
- Rust development experience.
- Background in building blockchain indexers.
