Monterra is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build B2B software at a startup. You will own projects end-to-end, working across different styles from well-defined specs to open-ended product vision. We are bringing AI and software to the interface of the physical (built) world and digital world.
What You'll Do
- Work on end-to-end features from Figma to production
- Handle database and schema design
- Build LLM workflows
- Perform UI polish and refinement
- Conduct bug hunts and performance tuning
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years building B2B software
- Some startup experience
- BS or MS in Computer Science
- Expertise with React, TypeScript, and Postgres
- Owns projects end-to-end including proactive communications and a problem-solving mentality
- Finds ambiguity exciting and fun, not stressful
- Comfortable working in different styles across projects
- Knows when to hack vs. when to polish and future-proof
- Thoughtfully uses AI dev tools to increase velocity
- Strong collaboration skills - low ego, clear communication, eager to work with others
Nice to Have
- Based in PST or the Bay Area
- Experience shipping LLM/AI features
- Familiarity with Vercel, Next.js, Supabase, or PixiJS
