Responsibilities
- Take complete ownership of user-facing features, spanning backend logic in modern Java/Spring Boot and frontend interfaces built with React and TypeScript, connected through GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Champion AI-assisted development by leveraging tools such as Cursor, Claude, or Gemini to speed up coding tasks like scaffolding, refactoring, and test creation, while ensuring code remains secure, maintainable, and architecturally sound.
- Lead architectural advancements by guiding the transition to a multi-module Spring Modulith design, improving performance of PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch queries, and working with domain-specific RDF-based semantic data models.
- Improve engineering standards by enforcing comprehensive test coverage using JUnit, Testcontainers, and Playwright, reviewing merge requests rigorously—including AI-generated code—and providing guidance to less experienced developers.
