We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer to work on our client's project in scaling and refining a live, production-grade AI product. In this role, you will be shipping end-to-end features, debugging complex distributed systems, and optimizing a codebase.
The platform specializes in business discovery, contact enrichment, and lead research, using AI to generate high-conversion, personalized outbound email sequences.
**This role will be remote work aligned with the Hong Kong timezone
Responsibilities
Design, build, and ship features across the entire stack, from polished React frontends to complex Python/LangGraph AI workflows.
Architect resilient backend logic to handle production constraints, including rate limits, retries, and the inherent unreliability of external LLM services.
Quickly internalize an existing codebase to trace issues across the stack and implement pragmatic improvements without unnecessary rewrites.
Proactively monitor, debug, and resolve issues in production using Sentry and PostHog to maintain high platform uptime.
Manage and optimize connections with third-party APIs (OpenAI, Perplexity, Stripe, FindyMail) to ensure seamless data flow and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience moving seamlessly between React/TypeScript and Python (FastAPI).
Hands-on experience building with LLMs and AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, LangChain).
Experience with modern backend primitives—specific experience with Convex is a significant plus.
Proven track record of shipping and maintaining a live SaaS product, including testing, monitoring, and scalability.
Ability to trace a bug from a UI glitch down to a backend API response or a prompt failure in a Python worker.
Thrive in high-ownership environments and prefer making an impact over navigating corporate hierarchy.
Professional fluency in English (both written and spoken).
Nice to have
Previous experience in Lead Gen, MarTech, or Outbound Sales products.
Experience building complex workflow automation or agentic systems.
Early-stage startup experience and be able to be responsible for multitasking
