Responsibilities
- Serve as the main finance contact for operations teams in VIC and NSW, fostering strong working relationships.
- Collaborate with operations to identify key drivers of performance, cost challenges, and efficiency efforts, then translate them into financial insights.
- Help site managers interpret cost centre results, variances, and performance trends with actionable guidance.
- Lead the integration of site-level data into annual budgets and recurring forecasts using Planful, covering overheads, labor, maintenance, and operating expenses.
- Work with Procurement to update ingredient and packaging cost assumptions in Planful, ensuring financial models reflect current pricing.
- Monitor capital expenditure against approved budgets and assist in evaluating return on investment for capital projects.
- Track key working capital and inventory indicators specific to manufacturing sites, such as days of ingredient inventory on hand.
- Produce monthly financial reports and performance commentary using data from Omni Analytics and NetSuite systems.
- Identify and resolve issues related to cost allocation and coding accuracy in coordination with Procurement and Operations teams.
- Deliver on-demand financial analysis to support operational choices, capital funding requests, and cost reduction programs.
- Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation in working files, Notion pages, and reporting materials for all site finance activities.
- Support ongoing enhancements to financial processes, controls, and reporting tools at manufacturing locations.
- Ensure the integrity of spend and inventory data used by the broader FP&A function.
