Responsibilities
- Applying scientific methods and technical knowledge to resolve narrowly defined challenges
- Gathering and inputting data while applying established technical frameworks
- Evaluating and documenting data through analysis, comparing results with applicable regulations and prior research to confirm adherence
- Leading stream restoration initiatives using Natural Channel Design principles, including assessments of current and planned conditions to guide improvements and design decisions
- Performing in-depth field studies and evaluations, including analysis of sediment movement and erosion potential
- Examining and assessing geomorphic and hydraulic datasets
- Preparing and evaluating technical documentation
- Working collaboratively across Canadian offices and disciplines, engaging in client and stakeholder meetings
