AECOM is hiring a Senior Fire Protection Engineer

Due to recent project wins, our National Fire Protection Team is looking to add a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to their national Building Engineering team. You will work with our national fire-protection team on a variety of projects providing technical fire protection design services. This role is based in Brisbane. How you’ll make a difference: - Be actively involved in all phases of fire protection project design and delivery, from concept through to construction and commissioning, ensuring high-quality solutions across diverse sectors. - Design and implement fire hydrant and hose reel systems, automatic fire sprinkler systems, alternative fire suppression systems, gas suppression, fire detection, evacuation, ensuring full compliance with Australian Standards. - Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines on large, multi-disciplinary projects to develop integrated fire protection solutions for major clients. - Ensure all fire protection designs meet the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, and local authority regulations, as well as major client standards and guidelines maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards. - Use your expertise in wet and dry fire protection systems to mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence across a range of projects.
