Gravie is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the financial planning and analysis team to develop a comprehensive suite of forecasting tools
  • Work with senior leadership on critical, ad-hoc analyses to support informed and timely decision-making
  • Assist in defining and tracking key performance indicators at the company, department, and project levels
  • Identify and analyze performance drivers, explain deviations from targets, and provide actionable recommendations to business leaders
  • Utilize advanced financial analysis skills to identify new strategies for achieving short and long-term organizational goals
  • Ask and answer critical questions with data, including assessing current performance, evaluating ongoing practices, and identifying new initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics with at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot tables and XLOOKUP
  • Expertise in creating robust models to assess the financial impact of business changes
  • Experience in the healthcare insurance industry
  • Proven ability to simplify complex financial data for business partners and leadership
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Energetic, positive, and self-motivated attitude
  • Commitment to core competencies, including authenticity, curiosity, creativity, empathy, and results orientation

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SQL and/or statistical programming languages such as Python or R
  • Experience with self-funded or level-funded health plans
  • Previous experience in a startup or high-growth company environment

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $76,000 - $110,000 annually.
