About the Role
This position is responsible for overseeing financial operations for a portfolio of clients, driving process improvements, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will combine technical accounting expertise with strong client management skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end financial operations for assigned client accounts
- Conduct monthly close processes with attention to accuracy and deadlines
- Review financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client-specific financial issues
- Identify inefficiencies in financial workflows and recommend solutions
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients on financial matters
- Monitor account health and proactively address potential risks
- Ensure timely delivery of financial reports and deliverables
- Support the implementation of new clients onto internal systems
- Maintain detailed documentation of client processes and requirements
- Coordinate with external partners such as auditors or tax professionals
- Escalate complex issues to senior leadership when necessary
- Track key performance metrics related to account operations
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data trends
- Assist in refining internal tools and processes for scalability
Nice to Have
- CPA or active pursuit of CPA certification
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or QuickBooks
- Background in SaaS or technology companies
- Prior experience in a remote-first organization
- Knowledge of automation tools for financial workflows
